About
Mark A Hoath
Mark Hoath is an Australian author with a lifelong obsession with stories, games, and the questionable decisions people make when the stakes get high.
He spent six years working on Australian racetracks before becoming a professional poker player—a career he attributes more to being good at maths than possessing any great ability to read people. Both worlds provided an extensive education in risk, luck, and human behaviour.
A lifelong gamer and RPG fan, Mark's writing is heavily influenced by games, film, and interactive storytelling. His books cross genres freely, from the racing world of The Track, to the action-adventure thriller Kim Kardashian for President, the LitRPG series The Last Reflection, and Necronomicon, a Cthulhu-inspired adventure series set in Australia.
Mark now lives in Thailand, where he writes, watches far too many films, and remains convinced that fencing, skiing, and hiking are perfectly reasonable hobbies for someone who spends most of his working life sitting at a desk.
